LTL GRI of 5% Effective 1-1-26

West Bend Transit and Service Inc. today announced a general rate increase (GRI) of 5.0% applicable to all non-contract LTL (less than truckload) shipments effective January 1, 2026.

Chris Greenberg, WBT’s President and Chief Operating Officer commented, “The GRI is based on the company’s expectations for the operating environment. In order for WBT to continue to provide the best service in the country this increase was necessary.

This increase will partially offset the rising costs of new equipment, technology and competitive wages to insure we have the best Professional Truck Drivers in the industry.

Minimum charges will be raised by $1.00 for all lanes on both intrastate and interstate shipments.
